    Fractional recurrence in discrete-time quantum walk

    Quantum recurrence theorem holds for quantum systems with discrete energy eigenvalues and fails to hold in general for systems with continuous energy. We show that during quantum walk process dominated by interference of amplitude corresponding to different paths fail to satisfy the complete quantum recurrence theorem. Due to the revival of the fractional wave packet, a fractional recurrence characterized using quantum P\'olya number can be seen.Comment: 10 pages, 11 figure : Accepted to appear in Central European Journal of Physic

    Study about skin cancer screening in comparison with breast and cervix cancer screening in a female sample from Concordia, Argentina.

    Introduction. The aim of this study was to describe the knowledge, practices and attitudes regarding the screening of skin cancer, compared to the breast and cervix cancer. Methods. An observational, cross-sectional study using structured questionnaires was carried out among women in the city of Concordia, Entre Ríos. The sample consisted of 90 mothers or tutors from low (G1, n=32), middle (G2, n=29) and high (G3, n=29) socioeconomic status elementary schools students. Results. Mean age were 37,9±6,6, 38,0±6,9 and 43,1±5,6 years, respectively. The annual skin exam has been performed by dermatologist in 30.0% (G1), 30.8% (G2) and 51.7% (G3) of these women. The annual gynecological exam has been done by 46.4% (G1), 60.7% (G2) and 86.2% (G3).  The existence of the skin cancer prevention campaign was known in 35,7%, 16% and 10,7% in G1, G2 and G3 respectively, but only 3,7% of G2, 3,7% of G3 and no women in G1 had ever participated in a campaign. Major conclusion. These data indicate the need to achieve effective strategies that allow improving the adherence of women to prevention campaigns, especially those for skin cancer prevention, where there is less participation when compared with breast  and cervical cancer screening. </p

    This document provides the most recent updates on the technical contributions and research challenges focused in WP3. Each Technology Component (TeC) has been evaluated under possible uniform assessment framework of WP3 which is based on the simulation guidelines of WP6. The performance assessment is supported by the simulation results which are in their mature and stable state. An update on the Most Promising Technology Approaches (MPTAs) and their associated TeCs is the main focus of this document. Based on the input of all the TeCs in WP3, a consolidated view of WP3 on the role of multinode/multi-antenna transmission technologies in 5G systems has also been provided.     Parasitological appraisal of TFX-Thymomodulin effect on the course of intestinal and muscular invasion in mice infected with Trichinella spiralis

    Studies were undertaken to evaluate by parasitological techniques the course of intestinal and muscular invasions in mice infected with Trichinella spiralis and treated with TFX-Thymomodulin (TFX-Th). Studies were conducted on 120 mice of BALB/c and SWISS strains, infected each with a mean invasive dose of 300 T. spiralis larvae. TFX-Th (Thymoorgan GmbH Pharmazie Co. KG, Vienenburg, Germany) was administered subcutaneously at 30 mg/kg body weight. Depending upon duration of TFX-Th administration and stages of intestinal and muscular invasions, three experiments were distinguished in the study. The results indicated that TFX-Th promoted eradication of larvae from muscles, whether administered at the early of the late stage of T. spiralis invasion
